HOW TO GET THERE

By air: Vienna lies at the heart of Europe. Vienna-Schwechat Airport is located outside the city limits and offers ideal connections to the rest of the world.

From Vienna-Schwechat Airport to the city center, take the City Airport Train CAT to the city center in 16 minutes. Alternatively, the express train line S7 and airport express buses will take you into the city and to Vienna's main train stations.

Ryanair lands at Bratislava Airport, which is only 65 km from Vienna and trains and buses run regularly between the cities of Vienna and Bratislava.

By train: Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) offer a well developed railway network and modern trains that carry you to Vienna in safety and comfort. Vienna can also be easily reached by train from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, France, Spain and the UK.

Please note: Some of Vienna's train stations are currently undergoing redevelopment and connecting to the metro might prove more difficult.
