Infant and maternal mortality are not new problems in our country. Previously it happened due to ignorance and nonavailability of modern medical facilities. Now, it has various created reasons like murder of detected before birth / after birth girl child along with negligence, poverty etc. though over all system is improving in some states but mainly the Govt. should concentrate on more medical infrastructures with good administration for general people including proper door to door education regarding the matter.

Since last 5 years the UPA2 has been busy warding off public and opposition anger against the tainted ministers. Even today it is no better. There has been a policy paralysis. Almost all welfare schemes were rid with corruption. In fact the government is trying to introduce more schemes only with the aim of enriching the political mafia who will ensure the votes in the next election.
