EU INDIA S&T COOPERATION DAYS
The EU-India S&T Cooperation Days, a 3-day Event to promote and enhance EU-India Scientific Cooperation offers a great opportunity to get involved in European projects, to discover the funding opportunities, learn the rules of participation and to contribute to the definition of future research topics of mutual interest for the EU and India.

The event focuses on the following themes:

Food, Agriculture, Fisheries and Biotechnology & Health

The event is organized by four projects and initiatives in cooperation with the European Commission (Research Directorate General and the EC Delegation to India) and the Government of India with the involvement of the network of FP7 National Contact Points. With the aim to improve and facilitate S&T cooperation, the EU-India S&T Cooperation Days offer:

Informing - highlighting the opportunities for cooperation available for European and Indian researchers - (FP7 Info Day).

Networking - providing an opportunity for stakeholders from the EU and India to initiate cooperation in diverse fields of research, and to identify areas of common interest for future collaboration (Networking and Partnering Events)

Research policy analysis and development - via interactive roundtable discussions to compare respective EU and India research agendas, potentials and needs and to identify possible main lines of mutual interest in view of further collaboration (Round Tables).

Training - encouraging and facilitating participation in EU research, including practical sessions on 7th Framework Programme

The programme consists of:

Day 1: Networking Event - for people currently engaged in FP7 projects, by invitation only

Day 2: Info Day and Partnering Event - for people interested to get involved in FP7

Day 3: Two Parallel Programmes - Round Table Discussions Round Table Discussions and Training

Speakers, moderators and trainers include Representatives from the European Commission, the Indian Government, Key Experts on EU funded projects, FP7 coordinators and Senior Scientists.

Participation is free of charge upon registration and offers a unique possibility to benefit from and contribute to EU India scientific cooperation.
